Our mission is to support efforts that advance the fundamental rights and health of all women and girls.
ABOUT US
In October 2022, the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund was launched as a donor advised fund at the Tides Foundation to support efforts that advance women’s rights and health. The Fund will be conducting various fundraising efforts and the net proceeds will be granted to organizations that are having a positive impact on the lives of all women and girls.
GRANTS
On January 22, 2024 – the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade – the inaugural grants from the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund at the Tides Foundation were announced.
In 2023, $155,000 was given to an incredible array of organizations who are:
- Ensuring access to safe, legal abortions and reproductive healthcare.
- Advocating for reproductive justice
- Getting out the vote.
